Final Draft CAD – Final, The First Time

Final Draft CAD Office

Final Draft CAD’s first project was to help a woodworking company create shop drawings from an architect’s contract drawing set. One of our latest projects involves creating and coordinating 3D piping content for a trades contractor, utilizing Revit® and Navisworks® clash detective to minimize installation time, effort, and cost. From the beginning, we have helped businesses get their projects off of the ground so they can move them forward. We have invested in today’s technology to not only be competitive, but to help your company install your mechanical content faster, to visualize your kitchen before it’s built, and to provide your client an as-built 3D model that will help them save money long into the future. Contact us today and let us help your company move forward.

Why choose us

Our staff’s background and education is diverse. Some of our personnel have Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Architecture. This allows for less time spent in the back-and-forth investigative phases and more time spent modeling, drafting, and coordinating the content our clients have hired us for.

We collectively have decades of experience using computer-aided drafting and modeling technologies, which increases speed and accuracy while reducing cost.

Our personnel have broad professional experience with aerospace, biotech, commercial, corporate, educational, healthcare, industrial, modular manufacturing, and retail settings resulting in vast exposure to OSHA compliance, HR procedures, building code rules and regulations, and all of the associated training that comes along with it. We have worked for and with companies like yours, and as a result, we will respect your operations while onsite.

Our History

Early 2011
Daniel B. Welch founded Final Draft CAD

while working out of small warehouse office on Presumpscot Street in Portland, Maine.

Quickly outgrowing the small warehouse space, Final Draft CAD

moves to the peninsula in the Bayside community of Portland, Maine. A larger space in a more professional setting, this allows Final Draft CAD to focus on growing its customer base and on sustainable growth .

Final Draft CAD becomes Final Draft CAD, LLC,

expanding operations once again.
