Complete management of the BIM
- Run your project. We’ll run the BIM. From technology setup, to running meetings, we will work with you to ensure your project integrates the BIM correctly.
- Owners, Architects, Engineers, Construction: Our employees have been all of these at one point in their careers. We understand BIM and its underlying technology, and how buildings are run, designed, coordinated, and built.
- Just need to see how all of the Revit models received go together? We can review design-intent content to show how the architect and engineers models interact with one another. We provide a Navisworks .NWD file that you can review with free software from Autodesk.
- Clash detection takes on a whole new meaning when each issue found can save significant cost. Sometimes issues aren’t caught via automated tools and having an eye for content outside of walls or below ceilings is just as important. Finding issues: This is what we do.

We can model just about any item if given informative specifications and submittal.

Drafting Tools for the 21st Century
Effectively communicating the design intent is crucial to ensure it is built correctly. Having a parametric model is helpful to quickly create drawings, but a BIM may not be within budget. 2D drafting still has its place, and is ultimately what people use to create real-world content. Almost all projects ultimately end up with the creation of drawings. Let us create yours!
The Best As-Built Tool Going …
Walls camber, floors that aren’t level, and structural joists with members that don’t match the design model are all found in the wild. We utilize modern technologies to ensure that field conditions can be efficiently brought into the BIM. Our experienced team can work with the data, as well as capture it. ‘As-builting’ has never been so easy.
Questions we’ve been able to answer with reality capture in a BIM:
- The building is slumping in the field. How will that impact design?
- Phase 1 has been completed. Scanning of a large mechanical room to ensure Phase 2 design works around as-installed Phase 1 content.
- The existing structural steel CAD files we started with are questionable, and we built our entire BIM on it. Verify via a point cloud that the BIM steel is accurate before we begin active coordination.

Technology Setup
BIM is inherently a complicated medium. The software, hardware, and networking requirements are substantial and shouldn’t be underestimated. The tools involved are often specific and can lead to a poor implementation if mishandled. We are experts in this field.
BIM Execution Plans
In order to execute a BIM in an effective manner, you need an execution plan. We ask the right questions to ensure owners get a BIM at the end of their project that fulfills their needs. If we’re contracted after the process begins, we can create a document that gives BIM guidance for the remainder of the project.
Clash Detection
Clash detection is a useful tool in ensuring that any design issues are found. Two systems cannot occupy the same space, and software helps us address this. We use Navisworks and other tools for clash detection followed by our detailed clash analysis. Not all issues are clashes, but they can lead to this if not found. Our approach to looking below the ceiling and at wall content, will invariably find concerns that the software doesn’t, enabling us to address and solve those issues.
Logistics Plans
Trucks, cranes, sidewalks, deliveries, city streets, and your project site. You may not be able to get there from here, so it is useful to run through the exercise before you have major construction delays.
Design-Intent Review
Often an owner thinks that because the architect is using BIM software (Revit), coordination is taking place concurrently. This may be a mistake. Our creation of the federated model and corresponding analysis will leave the client better educated with what the contract drawings are communicating.
4D & 5D
Utilizing Navisworks with a BIM to visualize a building constructed over time in 4D is very beneficial. With the ability to answer the question of how much money is needed and when, the added dimension of cost added to create a 5D allows for reduced waste in the form of interest charges.
